What We Inspect
We will conduct a thorough inspection of your home, inside and out. Besides what's listed below, we offer the following additional services:
Well inspection: includes a one hour flow test. This will help determine the ability of the well to produce an adequate supply of water for the operation of fixtures. Water samples will be taken to laboratory, testing for coliforms, bacteria and nitrates. Results in approximately 48 hours. For lead testing, please allow 10 days.
Septic inspections: include locating the septic tank, exposing the access lid, contracting to have the tank pumped if requested or necessary, inspecting the condition of the interior of tank and existence of proper fittings. Also, locating and inspecting the condition of the drainfield. It is helpful to perform this test toward the end of the normal inspection since a large quantity of water will be directed into the system during the inspection.
Radon testing: CRM. ( Continuous Radon Monitor ) Takes 48 hrs. on site, results at completion.
Air Quality testing: involves collecting air samples both outside and inside the home to help determine if elevated mold spore counts are present.

Outside the home, we will check the exterior walls, roof, driveway, deck, etc., then I will move inside to examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. The heating, air-conditioning,plumbing, and electrical systems will all be examined to ensure that they function as intended. Bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms receive a thorough check, along with the attic and basement or crawl space.
